Loser with a smile

I don’t want to be that guy,
That everyone knows and loves.
I don’t want to be that guy,
Who gets invited to all the parties.

I want to be that guy,
Who comes back after highschool saying look I made I made it.
I want to be that guy,
That everyone seems to forget about until it’s too late.

That guy you would call a loser.
The one with the ugly gf that makes him smile.
The one who hates you but will never say it.
The one who walked away from the guy who just called him a racial slur.

I don’t want to try to be anyone else but me.
That’s the type of guy I want to be.
The one never noticed until I want you to.
The one with a handful of people he can call his friends.

Not the guy with a fake smile,
But the loser with a real one.
